Enrique Hernandez-Sanchez is a pediatric gastroenterologist based in Boca Raton, FL, affiliated with GastroHealth. After attending medical school in Mexico City, he completed his last year of medical school at University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Miami Children’s Hospital and pursued his fellowship training at UCLA Medical Center. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Hernandez-Sanchez is an active participant in the medical community, with interests in both gastroesophageal reflux disease and inflammatory bowel disease. He is a founding owner of Parapharma Tech, the innovative company responsible for Gelmix and Purathick thickeners, which have significantly advanced the field of pediatric gastroenterology. He also volunteers as a pediatrician for the International Esperanza Project, providing medical care and support for children and their families in Guatemala.
