Sharon lives in Hillsborough, North Carolina. She is a pediatric dietitian and has practiced in a variety of capacities – for the last decade she has worked as member of the multidisciplinary feeding team at UNC Children’s Hospital in Chapel Hill. She also enjoys covering their pediatric rehabilitation outpatient clinics and sees many children she is able to refer to the feeding team! Over the last decade she has loved watching the team grow and has been so excited to see all of the wonderful collaborations, research focus and education centered on PFD. Last year she really enjoyed working as part of the Shannon Goldwater Summit for Change Committee and looks forward to the group discussions and work to create another feeding fantastic conference this year. On a personal note she has three grown (or just about) children all spread out and now gets to hang out with her husband and their golden/lab so they have become our ‘empty nest “ children!
