About the 2026 Feeding + Eating Psychology Summit
This event seeks to address the knowledge gap on assessment and management of PFD and/or ARFID through the psychological lens across the developmental continuum.
Criteria 1: Multidisciplinary and Differential Perspectives
Submissions should reflect diverse clinical lenses and/or differential diagnostic considerations, demonstrating how multidisciplinary collaboration (either within formal teams or community based networks) informs assessment and treatment. Presentations should clearly describe general treatment strategies and what intervention looks like in real-world practice.
Criteria 2: Practice-Based Case Studies
Proposals are encouraged to include case studies that illustrate practical, evidence-informed assessment and treatment interventions, with clear examples of clinical decision-making, implementation, and outcomes.
Criteria 3: Integration of the Lived Experience
Presentations should meaningfully incorporate the lived experience, highlighting engagement and considerations across assessment and treatment to support culturally responsive, family-centered care.
All presentations should include general recommendations and best practices for assessment and treatment.
Once your abstract is submitted you will receive a confirmation email from Feeding Matters. The Feeding + Eating Psychology Summit Committee will review all abstracts in March. All authors will be notified of acceptance status by the end of March, 2026.
