At the Paediatric Dietitian Clinic, I provide medical nutrition and feeding therapy solutions for children all over Australia who have high complexity Autism with severe feeding problems such as Paediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD) and/or Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). Most children and adolescents in my clinic present with very limited safe foods, malnutrition and/or chronic nutrition deficiencies. I coordinate with many other paediatricians and allied health practitioners (e.g. child psychs, OTs, speech therapists, physiotherapists) all around Australia, wherever our client families are located. Most children in the clinic have significant annual budget support from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Australia. All consults are with parents/carers, by phone. I provide advanced support with medical nutrition products, nutrition supplements, specialist formula, functional foods, modified whole foods, management of enteral nutrition at home, and much longer term feeding therapy strategies.
