Candice Candelaria, a registered dietitian nutritionist with specialized pediatric and metabolism experience. She provides individualized pediatric medical nutrition therapy and also works with other community providers to provide comprehensive, integrated feeding care for young children with feeding concerns. Candice’s unique and extensive feeding experience has grown from her work in many fields. For several years, she served as one of only two genetic metabolic dietitians in Arizona. Outside of her private practice (Metabolic Zen, LLC), she is a part of Southwest Human Development’s Feeding Therapy Program and also works with the University of Arizona Integrative Health Center providing medical nutrition therapy as part of their Integrative Medicine Team. She received a Master of Science in Medical Dietetics from the Doisy College of Health Sciences at Saint Louis University and completed the nation’s only pediatric dietetic internship at Saint Louis University in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital, SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center, and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Candice is passionate about pediatric nutrition education, navigating specialized feeding needs, and working to make every child’s nutrient needs understood and manageable.
