Our collaborative feeding program values the importance of assessing and treating the whole child. Feeding evaluations are completed by a speech language pathologist and occupational therapist and include collaboration with your child’s outside providers (e.g., physician, gastroenterologist, nutritionist, etc.) in order to best support your child. Feeding therapy is provided in an outpatient, private practice setting using a combination of approaches to meet your child’s individual needs. Our feeding therapist have an assortment of backgrounds and trainings including, but not limited to, the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding by Dr. Kay Toomey, PhD and the Get Permission Approach to Pediatric Mealtime Challenges by Marsha Dunn Klein, OTR/L, MEd. We are located throughout south central Wisconsin with locations in Fitchburg, Verona, Middleton, Waunakee, Janesville, and Sun Prairie.
