Additional information:
Our clinic is part of a group of feeding clinics at this facility. Our clinic is called Ready Set Grow and is designed for children with FTT, feeding difficulties, and general feeding issues. We also have two other multidisciplinary teams (GI MDC) that specialize in more severe feeding problems for children who need more medical support and regular support from OT, ST, and a psychologist/therapist. Often times there is some overlap, but typically our Ready Set Grow patients are malnourished and may or may not have oral motor deficits. We do have an OT that works with the team once a week, but for children who need more intense therapy or ongoing evaluation with OT and or ST, we would refer them to our GI MDC clinic or to our OT or ST clinics for services in addition to ours.
