The Boone Fetter Clinic offers comprehensive diagnostic services and follow-up care for children who have identified concerns in the area of neurodevelopment, behavior, attention, sensory processing, and social-emotional development. Feeding difficulties are common among this population including, but not limited to, food selectivity, mealtime rigidity, oral sensory processing difficulties, oral motor delay, anxiety and/or behavioral emotional responses to food. Boone Fetter Clinic offers supportive feeding services for children aged 12 months to 18 years, which may include:
- Assessment
- Treatment planning
- Treatment
- Consultation (short-term and/or less frequent visits)
- Telehealth services
- Caregiver education/collaboration
- Recommendations for further assessment or additional therapeutic strategies
- Coordinated care with necessary specialists throughout the hospital or community
