Because They Grow Therapies is a well-established and reputable boutique private practice specializing in speech-language pathology, with a focus on pediatric feeding disorders including medically complex infants and children. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to the smallest of clients through the Illinois Early Intervention program and private sector. Our practice serves a diverse pediatric population in need of feeding, speech or language therapeutic services.
At Because They Grow, we help children with feeding disorders to progress their feeding skills so that they can participate in positive food experiences. We come alongside caregivers to cultivate the best possible outcomes and promote a positive lifelong relationship with foods. Feeding and mealtimes mean so much more than nutrition. They bring people together to share food, connection, celebration, and to pass down traditions within each family’s culture. All of this makes mealtime much more than simply a way to satisfy hunger. Our mission is to help babies and toddlers develop the skills needed to participate in mealtimes and to create healthy, safe, positive experiences with food through skilled, evidence-based therapy.
