Are you concerned about how your child’s feeding will impact their nutrition, growth and development?
Are you looking for peace at mealtimes and wish your child enjoyed eating?
Do you have some concerns about your child’s feeding, but you’re not sure what to do next?
Babble & Munch Feeding Therapy has expertise in the assessment and treatment of infant and toddler feeding problems, as well as feeding and swallowing difficulties in older children (0-12 years).   Our team of highly skilled speech pathologists have specific expertise in infant and paediatric feeding and swallowing difficulties. Our aim is to support babies and children to discover (or rediscover) their own inner drive to eat and for their families to participate in enjoyable mealtimes.   Our focus is on identifying and understanding the underlying cause of your child’s feeding difficulties, building trust-based relationships, and supporting your child’s strengths to develop their feeding comfort, curiosity and skill.   Some of the feeding problems that we see include:
  • Difficulties with breastfeeding or bottle feeding
  • Sucking, swallowing or breathing difficulties during feeding
  • Coughing, choking or gagging
  • Poor endurance and fatigue
  • Distress with feeding
  • Feed refusal
  • Difficulty transitioning to solids, lumps or finger foods
  • Fussy feeders, picky or selective eating
  • Chewing or oral motor problems
  • Oral aversions or feeding aversions
  • Tube feeding, tube dependency, tube weaning and transitions
  • Stressful mealtimes & mealtime battles
  • Feeding problems related to medical or congenital conditions including reflux, allergies, eosinophilic oesophagitis, constipation, cardiac conditions, respiratory conditions, tongue ties or lip ties, prematurity, developmental delay, down syndrome, cleft, visual impairment, poor growth and renal conditions.
