Education Pillar
improves the educational offerings, resources, and opportunities for all disciplines in the pediatric feeding disorder field
Leadership and Committees
Education Pillar Chair: Amy Delaney, PhD, SLP
Conference Committee
determines the conference agenda topics and speakers; works collaboratively to plan and execute a multi-disciplinary evidence-based conference agenda, ensures that educational opportunities are of the highest caliber for attendees

- Committee Lead: oversees the development of the conference agenda in partnership with the Director of Programs and Events and the conference committee; helps to select committee members and hold them accountable to committee actions (time commitment: 1 year term, 1 meeting per month)
- Committee Members: participates in the development of the conference agenda and contributes to the planning and execution of annual conference (time commitment: 1 year term, 1 meeting per month)
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Representative: fully active conference committee member who also ensures that diversity in all areas of PFD is represented
- Scheduling Coordinator: fully active conference committee member responsible for planning committee meetings with members, determining meeting frequency, and creating and sending agendas and meeting minutes
Pre-Conference Committee
responsible for delivering an evidence-based interactive learning event highlighting the family’s voice regarding how PFD is assessed and managed within the PFD community

Digital Outreach Committee
responsible for building a digital outreach program designed to guide partners of influence, assess website function, drive website revisions, and guide content creation and digital dissemination

- Digital Outreach Committee Members: participates in the development of the digital outreach program, including website analysis, design recommendations, and process planning (time commitment: 1 year term, 1 meeting per month)

Research Pillar
develops and contributes to a research blueprint designed to ignite research, optimize funding, and promote evidence based, family-focused, multi-disciplinary care for PFD
