Position description
Our pediatric feeding team is eager to hire an APP to lead our current team of an RD, SLP, OT, MSW and RN. The team is currently led by an experienced PNP Feeding Specialist and a NCCC/Endo NP who have been charged with building the program and mentoring the chosen candidate for the full time APP position. This is an expansion of the Pediatric Feeding Team at NC Children’s in Chapel Hill.
How we work with families during treatment:
The Wilmington Feeding team sees patients together over extended appointment times to allow for collaboration with the medical provider, dietitian and feeding therapist. The RN and SW both begin and conclude the appointments with expectations of the visit and a conclusion at the end with recommendations. Each appointment includes a feeding therapy session.
