Paula Benzing

Paula Benzing is an Arizona native, and Arizona State University grad who loves everything about Arizona – especially the weather.  Paula and her husband Brandon have 3 kids – Isaac (13), Charlotte (8) and Penny (6).  Due to HELLPs Syndrome, Paula had two of her three kids (Isaac and Penny) prematurely at 28 weeks, both weighing 1lb 14oz. Paula and Brandon became very familiar with Feeding Matters when their youngest Penny came home from the hospital with an NG tube, and was placed with a G-Tube shortly after.  Penny had the G-tube until she was 4 years old, and is now a happy healthy G-Tube Free kindergartner. Paula’s Feeding Matters Journey started as a mentee with the Power of Two Program back in 2017 when she was desperately searching for answers and someone who understood the challenges of having a child with PFD.   During that time Paula became heavily involved with Feeding Matters and has loved and appreciated all the help, support and friendship it has brought their family. After being a mentee herself, she became a volunteer in 2019 for the Power of Two program, and has served on Family Advisory Council since 2020.  Their family was also the featured family in the 2019 Feeding Matters Community Luncheon Event.
