DANIELA ABIGAIL NAVARRO, PhD(c), RD, IBCLC
Abigail is a registered dietitian, epidemiologist, and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), serving as Principal Investigator of the SEED Lab (Support Early Eating and Lactation Laboratory) at the Department of Nutrition Sciences, Ariel University. She specializes in nutrition during the first 1,000 days of life, with a focus on breastfeeding and human milk composition. In her role, she leads research projects that explore maternal and infant nutrition, feeding difficulties, and lactation support in special populations. Abigail teaches undergraduate and graduate-level courses in statistics, maternal and child nutrition, childhood nutrition, and dietary assessment. She is passionate about mentoring future health professionals and promoting empowering, evidence-based care for families during early life nutrition.
