Spread awareness this Back to School season!
Up to 1 in 23 children under age 5 have a diagnosis of PFD and up to 1 in 6 individuals are affected by ARFID, meaning there is at least 1 child in every classroom with a feeding disorder.
Donate to Feeding Matters to help us spread awareness and support for feeding disorders and differences. All funds raised go toward Feeding Matters’ Family Support Programming, including our Power of Two Parent Mentor Program, Virtual Support Groups, and Family Assistance Program.
There are several ways you can support families this Back to School Season:
BOGO: We are offering a Buy One, Give One sale of our book, In My Own Way. We want to see this book in more homes and in schools. With this sale, you get two copies of the book for $20. Purchasers are encouraged to keep one book and give one to their child’s school.
Fund a Book Bundle: For those who want to make a bigger impact, you can purchase a bundle of books to be distributed to schools across the country. This guarantees that books are reaching students far and wide.
Donate: Back-to-School Season often brings stress to families; if you do not want to purchase books, you can simply donate! All funds raised will go toward our Family Support programming.
About In My Own Way: When eating is hard, scary, or hurts, it’s not picky eating. Join Ollie as he navigates life with a feeding disorder, learning to embrace his unique challenges while still finding joy and connection in social gatherings. This heartfelt journey shows that even when food feels scary, there are still moments to savor and celebrate. (Paperback book, 28 pages)
Whether you’re a parent with a school-aged child, a professional in the school system, or a Feeding Matters supporter, we welcome you to be a part of this movement.
