2025 Mid-Year Impact Report / Feeding Matters

To our community of families, professionals, advocates, and partners:
As we reach the halfway point of 2025, I am proud to share Feeding Matters’ Mid-Year Impact Report, an overview of the progress we’ve made together and a glimpse into the future we’re building.
The first six months of this year marked a period of accelerated impact and deepened alignment across our mission to transform the system of care for children with pediatric feeding disorder (PFD) and individuals with avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID).
Together, we’ve launched groundbreaking family support initiatives, delivered education to nearly a thousand professionals around the world, and advanced national recognition through policy, research, and awareness. We’ve expanded our community infrastructure with new regional councils, co-authored a call for diagnostic clarity, and unveiled the trailer for our forthcoming documentary, providing a critical lens into the multifaceted challenges faced by families dealing with feeding disorders.
Every accomplishment in this report reflects a powerful truth: real change happens when families are not only heard, but centered. Whether it’s a parent finally feeling seen through our new children’s book In My Own Way, or a clinician applying insights from our international conference directly into practice, the ripple effects of your support are everywhere.
But the work is far from over.
As we look ahead, we are focused on deepening our impact in the second half of 2025: the Feeding and Eating Psychology Summit returns this August looking at PFD & ARFID across all developmental stages; hosting our second annual Feed the Cause signature event in October.
I invite you to explore this report and see the impact you’ve helped make possible. Your continued partnership is vital as we move from progress to transformation.
